11/27/2009: No recent news to report. We are getting in Badboy, Stealth, ACG, and Fairplay cars weekly. All manufacturer's contend all of our orders will be filled before the end of the year.
11/16/2009: The OTC has said they will appeal the outcome of the lawsuit, but have yet to do so. Therefore we are still following Judge Hladik'sRuling which states the vehicles sold by the Plantiffs (Pat's Archery and 4 other dealers) will qualify for the tax credit. As of today his ruling IS the law. Even if they appeal, it would take some kind of political maneuver for them to overturn the ruling. Even if they did win we cannot see how they would make any ruling retroactive. However, we still want everyone to consult their tax advisor before making any purchase.
11/15/2009: We are currently taking orders for Badboy Buggie XT LSV's, Stealth Patroit's, Fairplay EVE's, and American Custom Golf Cars that will be delivered by Dec 31st 2009. Get your orders in soon!

10/27/2009 Update: During the OTC meeting today, the OTC did not agree to the settlement they agreed to during the trial. So, now we will await the Judge's ruling on Wednesday. I will let you know of the outcome!
10/22/2009 Update: We left the trial feeling very good; however, we have been advised by our attorneys not to discuss the results until next Tuesday. This is just simply to make sure we don’t jeopardize the negotiations. My attorney has agreed to send us an letter explaining the events of the day and what to expect by Tuesday. I will post this letter, which will better explain the process and keep me from giving out the wrong information.
10/20/2009 Update: Click here to view the letter showing Pat's Archery's representation by Mitchel, Gaston, Riffel, & Reffle.
The trial will be held at the Garfield County Courthouse in Enid, OK at 9:30.
If you have received informaion from the OTC and can testify, please contact Katresa Riffle at 580-234-8447, and let me know also. Dean (918-693-4632).
10/15/2009 Update: Our lawsuit against the OTC will be on Oct 21st, at 9am in Garfield county. We would love to fill the court room with customers of Pat's Archery. I will give you more details on Monday. I will be out of the office till next Thursday (10/22), however, you if you have any pertinent questions please call my cell at 918-693-4632.
10/12/2009 Update: Pat's Archery as well as 4 other dealers have been added to the Ada Electric Cars lawsuit. Also, as manufactures, Bad boy, Stealth, Ruff-N-Tuff, & Fairplay has also been added. We have a very strong suit against the OTC. They have given out tons of misinformation and we intend to make them stand behind their statements regarding qualified electric vehicles. If you want my updates, please send an email to dean@patsarcheryok.com.
10/09/2009 Update: As most of you know the OTC ruled today against most of the vehicles they previously said would qualify for the tax credit. However, a Judge ruled today in favor of Ada Electric Cars, stating that everyone that purchased a vehicle prior to the Sept 17th emergency ruling would be eligible for the tax credit. They will be continuing their lawsuit next week in hopes to get a further ruling to allow them to continue to sell LSV's through the end of the year. Badboy and Stealthalong with their dealers (including Pat's Archery) will be joining this lawsuit. We expect to get the same ruling as Ada. Keep tuned and don't give up!
10/02/09 Update: The OTC is currently reviewing each of the vehicles we sell and has said they will be sending a formal letter stating which ones will qualify for the tax credit. They will be repling back on a first come first served bases. I sent in my request first thing this morning, and the OTC representative said I should get a reply early next week. They will produce a list of approved vehicles by the end of the week.
10/01/09 Update: The OTC rescinded the emergency ruling: See http://www.tax.ok.gov/upmin100109.html
09/22/09 Update: Badboy sent information about their XT LSV today. Stealth delivered their documentation personally. Stealth's meeting with the OTC was VERY positive. Badboy CEO received a call from the OTC asking questions about how many LSV buggies were sold in OK. I also received a call from the OTC asking how many LSV's I've sold. The only reason I can think of for the OTC to ask these questions, is if they are working on a compromise. Based on information from many sources, I believe they are accessing how much in tax credits the state will be paying if they approve certain vehicles. The OTC will come out way ahead allowing the tax credits rather than paying the litigation fighting the law suits and possibly loosing! It seems that Governor Brad Henry will have the final ruling. If you haven't called him or sent a letter, please do so immediately.
09/21/09 Update: The OTC is currently reviewing many of the different LSV's sold in OK to verify if they will qualify for the state tax credit. Badboy and Stealth is sending the information necessary to the OTC tomorrow. The OTC said they will have preliminary list available by this Wed or Thur, and will have a final list by the following Friday. Both companies are optimistic their LSV will be approved. Keep in mind the list that is shown on Wed or Thur is only a preliminary list. The main problem the OTC has is that the Badboy, Stealth, and the Ruff-N-Tuff are only shown on their website as a hunting vehicle. We had to explain that this is not the vehicle we are selling. For example Badboy only shows the Badboy XT. We are selling the Badboy XT LSV, which is manufactured for on-road use. Badboy has a new website to be released OCT 1 but will try to release it early. We are also sending out more information daily via Email. If you are not getting these updates please email me at dean@patsarcheryok.com. We may have an incorrect email.
